Cranks are turning……in Pemberton

\”BIKES + TRAILS = AWESOME\” is the headline on the Pemberton Off Road Cycling Associations website and we couldn’t agree more.

P.O.R.C.A. (yes they have pig stickers) is the local cycling association you’ll find about 20 minutes north of Whistler in the beautiful and picturesque Pemberton Valley. The snow leaves the trails just a little bit earlier up there and conditions are absolutely prime in the spring. P.O.R.C.A. was founded to support riders and trails and their mandate is to \”maintain and enhance Pemberton’s world class riding experience for residents and visitors\”. By the looks of the well cared for trails, it would appear they’re doing a fabulous job! It’s hard to find a trail in Pemberton that hasn’t received some love from a rake in the past few weeks.

Upcoming events in Pemberton include the Annual Spring Trail Day on April 21st. Complete with a Pancake Breakfast, it’s a perfect way to earn some trail karma and give back to the community.

Saturday, April 28th is the annual Pemberton Enduro which is sure to bring some Enduro World Series racers up to the Spud Valley to compete with local rippers.

What more can we say. It’s a great time of year to ride bikes and a Whistler Superior Rental Property is always a great home base for a Sea to Sky bike adventure. See you out on the trails.
