New this year is the return of the legendary Saudan Couloir Ski Race Extreme, the stuff on legend and lore.  The world’s steepest ski race is back after an over 20 year hiatus. The race, which started in 1987, is set to be a festival highlight in 2018, bringing out the legends of ski racing, big mountain pros, and a healthy dose of amateur skiers who aren’t afraid to charge.

The tradition of free music also continues. Get loud alongside DJs spinning as hard as the athletes are sending it in the Ski and Snowboard Big Air competitions, keep the party going through après sessions at Whistler’s renowned restaurants and bars, then go out with a bang at The END, the famed final send off to WSSF.
