Located mere steps from the Blackcomb Daylodge and base of the Wizard Express chairlift, The Glacier Lodge is situated in the Whistler Upper Village which contains many of Whistler’s best stores, restaurants and bars. The Whistler Village itself is only about five minutes walk away via a scenic pedestrian stroll over a couple of bridges and through one of Whistler’s parks.
Guests will enjoy being in the quieter side of town while still having ski-in, ski-out access and being in close proximity to everything throughout Whistler.
Glacier Lodge #247 is approximately 600sq/ft and is a one bedroom condominium located all on one level on the second floor of the Glacier Lodge building. This well maintained vacation rental has received extensive upgrades including new carpet, updated furniture and a kitchen and bathroom renovation which includes granite countertops. The bedroom has a comfortable Queen sized bed and the living area contains a sofabed making the property suitable for up to four guests. Other amenities in this popular Glacier Lodge unit include a fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, T.V. and DVD player, CD Stereo and a private deck overlooking the grassy courtyard and pool area. This was the perfect place for us as we had an event across the way at the Fairmont. Staff was easy to contact prior to arrival and made it very clear that check in was at there office not at the condo we also were lucky enough to get an early check-in. The office was easy to find on the way to the condo. The kitchen was great we cooked on the room multiple times as we had kids with us. We comfortably slept 4 people with the queen bed and pull out couch. The room had plenty of towels for our 5 night stay. I would definitely stay here again the next time I come to Whistler.

I enjoyed my stay at this location. Any issues with the accomodation was quickly resolved after contact with management. The kitchen was well equiped with all cooking needs and fridge and dishwasher we good. The bed suited my back and after days on the slopes I slept well.

I thought the apartment was fine, quite comfortable and with practical utensils for 4 or more people. The only thing I needed was a few more cleaning supplies for the kitchen and bathroom. We like to leave and keep the bathroom in good condition, but we had to invest in that.

Great location to access the slopes and conveniences of Blackcomb. It’s a comfortable and convenient place to stay that offers excellent value for money for ski accom.

This is a winter season review. Although not a true ski-in ski-out location - does require a short walk to the gondola - this property is arguably in the most optimal location on the Blackcomb side. Approximately 100 yd flat walk to the gondola, several restaurants close by, and a 10 min walk to the upper end of the Whistler village. The true ski-in ski-out locations either require a hike up/down slopes or a drive to get to shops and restaurants. On the other hand, this property is linked to the gondola and Whistler village by a well maintained footpath. I was able to use street shoes to walk to dinner. The location of this unit within the complex is also pretty good. It faces the inside of the complex (no road or crowd noise), but is far enough away from the pool and spas that we didn't hear them. Didn't hear much noise from the neighbors. The complex appears to be older but the unit has been recently renovated. The unit looks more modern than the pictures indicate.
