Whistler Hiking

Summer and Fall are great times to really explore and take in the beautiful scenery of Whistler’s surrounding mountains and woodland. With access to over 50 km of trails you have the hard decision whether to hike, run, walk or find a nice spot to take in the absolutely stunning views that include ancient glaciers, alpine lakes, wildflower-filled slopes and a wide range of local wildlife. You will be able to find a hike that really suits your needs; go in search of majestic waterfalls and the clearest blue lakes or trek to the summit of the mountain and be on top of the world!

You can curate your own day to include all the sights and trails that you want. Or go with a hiking tour group and let someone work out the logistics for you, so all you have to do is take in the breath-taking landscape and keep an eye out for those bears!

Stay in one of our accommodating properties to have easy, walk out of the door access to the Valley trail. Choose from one of our units in Alpine Greens or Glacier Lodge in upper village or in Glaciers Reach, Granite Court or Symphony in the main village. Or stay on the mountain to be near all Blackcomb has to offer with Mountain Star, Painted Cliff, Woodrun or Aspens.
