At Whistler Superior Properties we were very excited by the news that Immigration Canada has finally addressed the VISA issue causing a lot of difficulty for Mexican visitors. For 2016, there will be a new “ETA” program meaning any Mexican National who has obtained a Canada Tourist Visa in the past 10 years will not need to reapply once it expires. Those who have US Visas will also be eligible to travel to Canada with no VISA process.
This is a vast improvement over the existing system and will certainly make travel to Whistler, Canada a lot less troublesome for our valued Mexican Guests this coming winter season. CNN Mexico Article
In conjunction with this great VISA news, Aeromexico will offer a new direct flight from Mexico City to Vancouver starting December 9th, 2015. This daily flight has 124 seats and will increase capacity to Vancouver by approx. 17,000 travelers annually.
