It’s true! Whistler mountain opens EARLY!! Thanks to a consistent amount of snow it will open this weekend on November 16, 2013! Whistler Mountain will open at 8:30 a.m., with uploads from the Village Gondola and Creekside, and skiing off of Red, Emerald Express and Franz’s Chair.
Blackcomb Mountain and the PEAK to PEAK gondola opens on Thursday November 28th, right before the American Thanksgiving long weekend. The opening excitement doesn’t end there are this season we also get to celebrate the launch of 2 new chair lifts on December 7, 2013 at 10:00am!!
