We are now into the season where the mountains are becoming stripped of their snow and baring all for us to see. There are many new activities to enjoy in the summer but the most popular of these is biking. Whistler caters to the most adventurous riders and to those of us that like to cruise and take it all in.
Whistler Bike Park opened on May 17th and includes two skill centres, Jump Park, drop off park and the Boneyard Slope style park. With over 4,956ft/1,507m of lift services downhill trails there is something for everyone! Choose from tight and twisty single tracks, steep rock faces, root scattered lines and a range of drop offs to really test your limits.
If your not a biker, but are interested in the sport or just like to watch then there are plenty of events for you to put in your diary such as Crud to Mud, Crankworx Free ride Mountain Bike Festival and RBC GranFondo Whistler. Biking is such a big part of Whistler in the summer there really is no excuse to not get involved!
